The Starkey Ranch Distance Classic is a fun, family-friendly race that combines our popular 5K race with our newest addition, the 10K. You'll race through a series of trails and roadways within one of North America's top master-planned communities-  including beautiful views, parks and more.

Last year, this event filled up fast - so don't delay in registering! 

Race course will be available online in March.

Event details and schedule

The Starkey Ranch Distance Classic will take place in the Starkey Ranch community, which has its main entrance at the intersection of SR 54 and Trinity Boulevard in Odessa. Once you enter the community, follow the signs to find our public parking and race registration/check-in.

The course will be a combination of roadways and trails. The official course map will be available online one month prior to race date, through an interactive video as well as a downloadable map. 

Parking and check-in will be at Starkey Ranch District Park, located within the community. Once you enter the community, follow the signage and it will guide you in to the start/parking.

Packet pick-up will be the Thursday & Friday prior to the race date (April 27 & 28) at the Starkey Ranch Welcome Center. Thursday's pick-up hours are 10:00AM to 6:00PM and Friday will be 10:00AM to 7:00PM. Packets not picked up during this time can be picked up the morning of the race.

Pre-Registration will close one week prior to race date. From that point, any registrations will need to be done the morning of the race.
