• 5k Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Want to make a difference?  Join us for a run or walk through the beautiful nature trail and forestry of Arabia Mountain Heritage Park. After the race enjoy vendors, activites and park ranger tours.  This is a day for all families and participants!

Great Day Family Connections (GDFC) is an organization that encourages families to build relatonships through early communication, literacy and community partnerships.  GDFC 5K Walk/Run Race to Space is also a community event encouraging and finacially assisting other agencies providing assistance to men, women, children or families.

Great Day Family Connections 5K Walk/Run-Race to Space supports the dreams of students who are deaf or hard of hearing to explore beyond what appears to be limited.

GDFC Run/Walk 5K Race to Space supports the dreams of students who are deaf or hard of hearing to explore beyond what appears to be limited.  Funds from the 5K race will provide scholarship money for one week attendance at Deaf Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama.

Do you support or want to support men, women, families or children? Need a fundraiser?  Register as a team, pay the team fee, tell us about your goal and encourage participants to add your name during their individual registration. Each team will recieve $10.00 per participant over the age of 18 who is listed with their name.  No team, no worries.  Join us and send a student to Deaf Space Camp!

Registration:  6:45 AM-8:15 AM

Runners:  8:30

Walkers:  8:45

10 AM - 1 PM Vendors, family activities and nature tours
