Spark Goes Dark 5K Glow Run...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

SPARK goes DARK is a 5k Glow run/walk through
downtown Versailles, in combination with our two day
pop-up event called SPARK. With the Glow run theme
you will be provided with glow bracelets and necklaces
per pre registrations, as well as the course will be lit
with glow theme decorations and directions. The race is
open to all ages and skill levels.
The race will be chip timed by Headfirst Performance.
Proceeds go toward helping the Woodford County High
School Community Activism class put on and support
many events within the community. The idea for the 5k
is to show off our downtown community. You will get to
run through the and see some of the best areas around
downtown Versailles.

Course description
The 5k race is held in downtown areas of Versailles. The
race is enhanced with glow directions and lights
throughout. Whether you are running or walking, you will
see what Versailles has to offer.

Water Stations
There will be water stations on the 5k course & at the
finish line.

After March 31 - $25
Day of Race - $30

Please note: online registration closes at 9AM Wednesday April,
26th.

Race day Registration: begins at 6PM at the main event SPARK
Packet Pick-up: beginning at 6 PM day of race at the main event
for SPARK

Race Day
Packet pick up will be in the U behind the courthouse (the main
event for SPARK). The 5k race will begin at 8:30PM in the road
behind Thoroughbred square.

Awards
Awards for the race will be given as soon as possible after the race
at the main event for SPARK. This is found in the U behind the
courthouse. So stick around and enjoy some music and food after
and see more of our wonderful downtown area. Awards will be
presented to the top three overall male and female winners. As
well as the top three male and female finishers in each age group
(age groups are in 10 year increments starting at 10 and under up
to 70+).

Refund Policy
FULL Refunds are ONLY given for injuries, illness, schedule
conflicts, etc. before March 31, 2017. PARTIAL Refunds are given
up until five days before the event. The Woodford County
Community Activism Class reserves the right to alter the format or
cancel events for safety reasons due to inclement weather, course
conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. If the course is
altered due to unforeseen circumstances or if the race is cancelled
due to inclement weather on the day of the race, there will be no
refunds given

A NOTE ON RACE SHIRTS:

To be GUARANTEED a race shirt, you MUST register by March 31.
We will order a LIMITED number of additional shirts when we place
the order on Friday evening, March 31 & these will be assigned first
come, first served to late registrations. There is a VERY GOOD
possibility that there will be NO shirts available on race day, so
register early to make sure you get one!
