The Woodside Elementary Spring into Wellness 5K Family Fun Run is aimed at inspiring  health through fitness and exercise while raising funds to create meaningful opportunities for students, parents and teacher. 

The event includes:

• 5K Run or 1-Mile Walk
• Health and Wellness Festival
• Light entertainment

Dear Runner, 

The Woodside Elementary PTA is looking forward to hosting you at the Spring Into Wellness 5k on Sunday April 23, 2017.   The race will begin at 10 am. Listed below please find some additional information regarding the race.

Race Course - The race will start & finish at Woodside Elementary School located at 160 Funke Road Glen Burnie MD, 21061. After starting the race at Woodside Elementary participants will proceed to Norfolk Rd, make a slight turn onto Twin Ridge Drive and then back onto Norfolk Rd until they reach the B&A Trail. After reaching the trail, runners will head south towards Marley Station Mall. The turnaround point will be the bridge over Route 100 just passed Marley Station Mall. The same route will be used to return to the School. All miles are marked.  Please stay to the right side of the trail and remember the trail is not closed for the event so be mindful of walkers, bikers, and any other of the public using the trail.  

Parking – There will be plenty of parking at the School.

On-site Registration & Packet pick-up- On site registration and packet pick-up will be at the school from 8:45-9:30. To pick-up your packet you will need to give the volunteer your last name.  

In addition to the race, a wellness fair will be held at the school from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
