Be a part of the largest gathering of runnners and walkers for a themed MEXICAN FIESTA  atmosphere in SO CAL. Salsa & Chips style run. A large beach area for a large Mexican party. The SoCal Cinco De Oh My Oh 5K/10K is Saturday, May 6, 2017. The "Every Body" Caren Ware event has the best event shirts, oranate custom cast medals, is RFID CHIP TIMED, and has cool division awards. Be the party or come to just run fast.  It is a FLAT n FAST PAVED COURSE along the beach.

Itz ABOUT TIME RFID Chip timed event with wave starts.  Age division and overall awards for avid runners, and the BEST EVER CUSTOM CAST FINISHER MEDALS for all. We raffle chips & Salsa. BRING YOUR SOMBEROS! You get a great salsa party, a great event tshirt, custom cast finisher medal, course time, and a great time!   Age division awards 3 deep in 5 year age spans. Sea Legs Cafe serves margaritas. It;s beachy.

Pre-Race Day Packet Pick up/Late Registration:   ROADRUNNER SPORTS COSTA MESA, Friday , May 5 1pm to 6pm. 1835 Newport Blvd, Costa Mesa, Ca. 92627  or RACE DAY 6:30 to 7:45 am at race site.  Serving Chips and salsa at packet pick up.

Parking: PARKING at BOLSA CHICA STATE BEACH is $15.  You may wish to car pool..To enter into BOLSA CHICA STATE BEACH  go in the main g ate on PCH and drive furthest EAST to the very last parking lot. T he race is staged in view of that famous  Jack In the Box on the corner of Warner and PCH.  If you prefer to not pay parking, there is a parking  lot where the SuperMex and the gas station are located on the corner of Warner and PCH.  You can walk in to the race staging area from there.

COURSE: Paved  course runs along the  majestic Pacific ocean with views of Catalina Island. Hear the crashing of the surf. Aid station half way through the 5k course might find you 'washed ashore". High five runners as you pass circling out and back with a pirate's life is me. 

Volunteers are the best! Volunteer at packet pick up and get a race day entry. (limited to the first 6 to sign up). Volunteer race day and get a tshirt.
