2011 Middle Park Half Marathon:
Located in one of the most scenic valleys in the Rocky Mountains is a place called Middle Park, located 90 minutes northwest of Denver. Long a ranching community it is now home to some of the best skiing, mountain biking, climbing, fishing and running in the country. This first year event has all the making of becoming a classic must do summer race, if not just for the scenery alone. The finish in downtown Granby will have live music, prizes, food, drinks, beer and overall a great time for the whole family. Course Info
Beginning on the east side of Granby the Middle Park Half Marathon is run primarily on smooth dirt roads.
The course climbs 500' in the first 4 miles and then rolls through sagebrush valleys and lodgepole pine forest back around to where it started.
Runners will run the last 2/3 mile down the main street of Granby to the finish line at the town park.
