• 5K Run / Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Brenda Owens Memoral Wellness 5K Walk/Run event was created to promote active and healthy lifestyles among the Greater New Orleans community as well as reflect and celebrate the life and legacy of Brenda H. Owens. Proceeds from the race will be donated to the American Lung Association’s New Orleans chapter to assist with their outreach and program development in our communities.

This event is sponsred by the Alpha Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. The chapter has more than 150 active members and provides thousands of hours of community service to the local community. Alpha Beta Omega is led by Chapter President Ms. Robyn McCormick.

Wear comforatable shoes and clothes. Ensure you have completed the waiver on line or you will be asked to complete the waiver on site.
