_ 2017 Riker Danzig Newport 10K:
Our course is USATF certified, comprised of flat and local roads, and interweaves along the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway with spectacular views of the New York skyline.
Post-race festivities will begin at Newport Town Square at 10:00 a.m., featuring music, refreshments and prize drawings.
Proceeds will be donated to the Jersey City Medical Center – RWJ Barnabas Health, the area’s only not-for-profit hospital, and the regional trauma center.

FROM MANHATTAN
Take the Holland Tunnel. Upon exiting in Jersey City, make first right at Hess service station. Make right onto 18th Street which becomes Washington Boulevard. Proceed south. At Newport Parkway, follow race parking signs.
FROM NEW JERSEY
New Jersey Turnpike Extension (from NJ Turnpike North or South or Rt. 78 East) to Exit 14C. After coming down the ramp, make right at traffic light onto Jersey Avenue. Bear left onto 11th Street Viaduct which becomes Newport Parkway. Pass Newport Centre Mall on right. Make right onto Washington Boulevard. Follow race parking signs.
BY PATH
Take the PATH Train marked Journal Square at 33rd Street/Herald Square, at 23rd Street, 14th Street, 9th Street or Christopher Street to Newport Station. Exit at Town Square Place. Turn left. Walk to River Drive South and Newport Town Square.
PARKING
Garage is located at 561 Washington Blvd. Parking is free if you show your bib number upon departure
