Saddle Buddies Therapy is a non-profit organization, dedicated to providing safe, caring and local access to hippotherapy & equine assisted therapy for people with special needs in the North Georgia region. This type of therapy is beneficial to people with disabilities such as cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome and many more.

We hope you will join us at North Forsyth Middle School in Cumming, GA for our Giddy Up 5K.  It will be run on paved streets around and near the school campus.

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 7AM

5K: Starts at 8AM

Awards: Will be given to the Overall Male and Female, and 3 deep in age groups beginning with 10 and under to 70 and over.

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com and www.coolrunning.com.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who pre-register BY 4/30/17 and given to those who register late and on race day will get shirts as supplies last.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2017 Black Bag Race Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds
