Mushala Memorial 1 Mile Walk and 5k Run...

Please join us in supporting the Erika White Mushala Legacy Trust Fund and the youth of Beltsville Academy!  The Mushala Memorial 5k is a competitive race with chip timing and awards to the top three finishers of each age bracket. The entry fee for the 5k is $25 for all ages. The Mushala Memorial 1 Mile Walk shares the same start and finish line as the 5k, but is a shorter, more relaxed event, and is not chip timed. The entry fee for the 1 Mile Walk is $20 for all ages. Both events start and finish at Beltsville Academy and will lead you through the quiet, residential streets of Beltsville. Proceeds benefit athletic programs at Beltsville Academy and the Erika White Mushala Legacy Trust Fund. Registrants of both the 5k Run and 1 Mile Walk will receive event t-shirts.

Event details and schedule

General Information:
The 5k will start at 8:00am on Saturday, May 13th. The 1 Mile Walk will begin at 8:05 on the same start line. An awards ceremony will follow the race. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in all age brackets for the 5k. Please allow yourself ample time to park, check in, and get ready before the race start. All registrants will receive an event t-shirt.

Parking:
Limited parking is available on site.

Registration/Bib Pickup:
Online registration closes at the end of the day on Thursday, May 11th. Registration is also available now through May 12th in the main office of Beltsville Academy during normal school hours.  On-site registration is available on race day morning from 6:30 - 7:30 am in the Beltsville Academy cafeteria. You may pick up your bib between 6:30 and 7:45 am on race day in the cafeteria.

5k Directions: Start on Howard Road. Turn right on Montgomery Road. Turn right on Dorset Lane. Turn left on Emack Road. Turn right on Montgomery Road. Turn right on 34th Place. Turn right on Kenny Lane. Turn right on Cedar Lane. Turn left on Brandon Road. Turn left on Josephine Road. Turn left on Cardinal Avenue. Turn left on Howard Road. Finish on Howard Road.
1 Mile Directions: Start on Howard Road. Turn right on Montgomery Road. Turn right on Emack Road. Turn right on Brandon Lane. Turn right on Howard Road. Finish on Howard Road.
