Benefiting families of fallen military through Medals of Honor
Through your participation you are not only paying tribute and honoring these brave heroes; your presence gives solace and comfort to the families they left behind. In lieu of numeric race bibs, each participant will wear a memorial bib containing the name of a fallen TN military hero.
Both the 5K and Memorial Mile takes you through the majestic landscape of The Grove. Located minutes from historic Franklin, Tennessee, The Grove is a 1,100-acre, private, gated community offering a distinctive club lifestyle, complete with Williamson County’s only Greg Norman Signature Golf Course.
The Memorial Mile – an emotional, mile-long section of the course commemorating Tennessee’s fallen service members. Please watch the video below to see footage from the 2016 Honor the Fallen.
Anyone registered for the 5K is welcome and encouraged to participate in the Memorial Mile at no additional cost.

About Medals of Honor
Medals of Honor gives the endurance/race community a tangible way to thank and give back to the families that lost loved ones while serving our Military. Through Medals of Honor racers can compete in honor of a fallen U.S. service member and donate a finisher's medal to the surviving family.
Through our Active Heroes program we fund potential athletes who are also Active Duty Military, Veterans or Surviving family members so that they may compete in endurance sports as a method of healing and growth. Medals of Honor will help cover the cost of: entry fees, coaching, equipment and travel expenses for these American VIPs!
It is our mission to make sure no sacrifice goes unhonored or forgotten.
