Get ready for the Red Kettle Run! It will be held on 4:00pm Sunday Afternoon, April 9, 2017, at the beautiful Warriors’ Path State Park. It is a 5k run/walk to benefit the The Salvation Army of Kingsport. Wear your best camouflage or army running attire and dash through the beautiful and peaceful park setting and around the lake. All proceeds from this race will go directly to benefit the programs of The Salvation Army of Kingsport!
The Salvation Army of Kingsport feeds over 42,000 meals per year, shelters over 9,000 individuals, and has a phenomenal youth program that sends kids to camp every summer. The Army also holds weekly youth and adult services, its food pantry provides over 2,300 boxes of food yearly, and its thrift store assists in clothing our city’s underserved. Come out and join the First Annual Red Kettle Run!
Arrive early to make sure you can park and pick up your race packet. The race will be held at 4PM sharp on Sunday, April 4. Packet pick up will begin at 2:30 PM.
Registration will be clearly marked upon entry to Warriors' Path State Park. Park wherever you find a space.
Wear comfortable running wear, preferably camouflage! Walkers are also welcome to join this event.
