Humane Society 5K9 Walk Run...

Join us for South Wood County Humane Society's annual 5K9 Walk/Run, Huge Plant Sale & Vendor Fair!

This event is one of the shelter's large fundraisers. 100% of proceeds generated by the Walk/Run directly benefits our stray and unwanted pets while they wait for new forever homes. Many of these pets require costly medical or behavioral rehabilitation prior to adoption.

We welcome companion pets to attend the event with their owners! Pets must be current on a rabies vaccination and be leashed at all times.

There are many fun activities the whole family will enjoy!

Pre-registration fee: $20

Deadline to pre-register: Monday, May 2nd

Pre-registrants are invited to pick up goodie bag and event t-shirt on Friday, May 12th from 4-7pm at the Humane Society!

Pledge Prizes -
Raise $75 - receive free registration & Humane Society tshirt
Raise $200 - recieve free registration & Humane Society hoodie. Be entered to win a pet themed basket!

*When registering as an individual pledge registration, you are agreeing to raise a minimum of $75 online. If you are unable to raise $75 by Friday, May 12th your account will be charged the $20 participant registration fee.*

9am Registration
9:30 am - Runners take off
9:35 am - Walkers take off

Post Route Activities - 10am-3pm
