Eli's Heroes - 5K...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

CrossFit Imperial Valley has been a part of the Imperial Valley community for over five years.  The members of our gym are like our family and we support them in any way possible. We are opening up our gym and putting on this 5K Run and a CrossFit competition in an effort to raise funds for a family in our community who needs our help.  Two of our members, Israel and Lizett Samaniego, have a two-year-old son, Eli, who is in need of a kidney transplant.  Lizett and Eli will undergo a parent-to-child transplant this summer.  Our goal is to raise $10,000 to assist their family during the two months that they will be in Los Angeles post surgery.  After the 5K, there will be a CrossFit competition in which 120 athletes will unite in teams of two and complete four grueling workouts to which the public is invited to spectate.  We will have food and drinks for sale, a live raffle and t-shirts for purchase.  All profits will be donated to the Samaniego family. Don't forget to stick around to spectate our CrossFit Throwdown immediately following the 5K. We will be selling raffle tickets for awesome prizes donated by our community and food and drinks will be for sale.
