About the Cause, Run & Course: 7 Mile Farm is to be an outdoor recreational facility and campground built for children in foster care and at risk youth in the southeastern part of Georgia. A safe place for the abused neglected and abandoned among us to heal and feel at home.
The Joseph House will be an independent living program for young men aging out of the system. It will serve as an extension of the Joseph Home for Boys legacy in Bulloch County.
The race course will amble up and down hills of what was formerly the Smithfield Golf Course with breathtaking views of an adjacent lake. The course promises to be challenging, fun and exciting. It will be well marked for all runners & walkers with 3 water stations. Come experience a run that promises to be much different than a road race. In addition to the run, there will be door prizes, inflatable jumps and a silent auction.
