Big Strides for Little Feet 2017 is the second annual kids only race along the scenic Fox River Trail in Geneva, sponsored by FONA International. This event has three options for kids to participate in: 5K, 1 mile run & Race the Hill (6 & under only for Race the Hill). Kids can feel the independence of running along the beautiful Fox River with Geneva Christian staff and volunteers charting the way. Adults may only be added to the race with a valid child registration. All registrations for the 5K and 1 Mile will include a chip timer. Kids 6 & under also may enjoy a race to the top of Mill hill in our Race the Hill event! Join our sponsors as you cheer your child on in the race.

8:30 AM              Registration, Shelter #3, Mill Hill and Fox River Trail

9:00 AM              Kid’s 5K race start (Shelter #3)

9:10 AM              Kid’s 1 mile race start (Shelter #3)

9:40 AM              “Race the Hill"

3 – 4 year old race the hill (9:40)

5 - 6 year old race the hill (9:45)

10:15 AM           Awards Presentation

Parking is available at Mill Hill, or across the river near the Japanese Gardens. The race route will be provided in the email confirmation and parents/grandparents are welcomed to set up chairs along the route to cheer your child on during the race. Other race day activities include a gardening craft sponsored by Heinz Nursey, reading time with Geneva Public Library and face painting.
