Heart of Mississippi 5K Run/Walk...

• 5K Run / Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

Following the 5K run/walk and fun run, please plan to stick around for the Leake County “Square Affair”, which will be held this year at McMillan Park in conjunction with the Heart of MS 5k Run/Walk (within walking distance from the start/finish).  As always, the Square Affair will have something for everyone, including Arts and crafts, food, fun zone for children and local entertainment.

All proceeds to benefit The D.A.R.E Program.

Race day registration starts at 7:00. Race starts at 8:00 sharp!

Course is out-and-back from Chipley St. to Hwy 16 west, to Hwy 35 south to turn-around at Van Buren.

$50 to Overall Male & Female Runners. Award to Overall Leake County RUNNERS. Overall, Masters and Grand Masters in Run & Walk, top 3 in age groups. Run has 5 year age groups 10 & Under thru 65 & Over. Walk has 10 year age groups 19 & Under thru 70 & Over. 
Overall in One Mile and top 3 in 2 year age groups 5 & Under thru 14-16. Ribbons to all finishers.

Top Team scored in Run & Walk.
