Best Fest 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Run / Walk...

Come join us for the Best Fest annual 5k run/walk and 1 mile run/walk. This event will once again feature an amazing swag bag and high quality tech shirt (available in men's/women's/youth sizes). This race is for competitive and noncompetitive participants. Seasoned runners and short distance walkers are all welcome to participate and enjoy the Portage area in a unique way. The race course highlights our beautiful city for the flat 5k run/walk.

All race proceeds go to benefit St. Mary's Immaculate Conception parish.

RACE LOCATION: ST. MARY's of THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION SCHOOL

307 W COOK STREET, PORTAGE, WI 53701   

EVENTS: 1 MILE RUN/WALK: 9:30 AM. 5K RUN/WALK Start: 10:00 AM.  

AGE DIVISIONS: MALE/FEMALE (5K RUN): 7 & under, 8-10, 11-13, 14-16, 17-20, 21-25, 26-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60 & over   

RESULTS AND AWARDS: Awards and gift certificates to the top three overall male and female finishers of the 5K run. 1st place awards will be presented in each age group listed above, male and female, for the 5K Run. Top three in the one mile run will receive an award. 

PACKET PICKUP: Day before registration and packet pickup: Friday May 19th from 5PM - 8PM at St. Mary's School, 315 W Cook St, Portage, WI 53901. 

Race day registration and packet pickup: 7:00 AM until time of each race at St. Mary's school, 315 W Cook St, Portage, WI 53901. 

FEES & RACE INFORMATION: Register before May 1st, 2017 for best prices. All pre-registered participants receive high quality tech t-shirt and runner swag bag. Day before and race day registration cannot guarantee tech shirt. (Unlike in 2016 there will not be a re order of shirts).
