 _ 2017 Bridge 2 Bridge Walk/Run/Relay 5K:

The SWC YMCA's Bridge 2 Bridge walk/run/relay will begin at Witter Field and take participants along the Wisconsin River, across two bridges through the downtown area and back to the finish line at Witter Field.  The race is a celebration of Wisconsin Rapids beautiful natural resources and the revitalization that is currently taking part in the city.

This is not your ordinary 5K race.  New to our event this year is an exciting two person relay! Find a partner and participate in a race that is built for speed.

Prizes awarded to winners in age groups:  8-12, 13-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 +    Relay: Youth (17 and younger), Adult (18 and above), Adult/Youth

Proceeds from the race will benefit the SWC YMCA's chronic disease programs; LIVESTRONG at the YMCA and Diabetes Prevention.

Our Kids Obstacle Run is designed to inspire kids to get out, be active and enjoy themselves.  The course is approximately one mile in lenght and the finish will incorperate five obstacle areas that will present a fun challenge to our participants.  This event starts after the conclusion of the 5K race.  Starting time is 9:30 a.m. at Witter Field.  This race if for age 10 and under.
