The Christiana Care Trauma Program is hosting our Injury Prevention 5K Run/Walk and 1K Children's Fun Run on Wednesday May 24, 2017. This event is a celebration of life and success in the face of significant odds. Injury is the leading cause of death and disability for people from the ages of 1 to 44. Every day Christiana Care's Trauma Program witness how lives are changed forever due to traumatic injuries. Because of this our Inury Prevention initiatives have grown to address falls in the older adult, distracted and impaired driving, bike, helmet, sports safety as well as violence prevention.

Event details and schedule

The race will take palce behind the helipad near the Emergency Department.  There will be race directional signs on the hospital campus to lead to parking and the start/finish line.

Registration begins at 5:30pm.

Walk up registrations welcome! Cost: $25.00 for the Run/Walk and $5.00 for Kids Fun Run

Kids Fun Run to start at approximately 6:15pm

5K Run/Walk to begin at 6:30pm

*Race numbers and t-shirts will be given out at registration.

*Please leave your pets at home they will not be permitted on campus for this event.
