The 6th Annual Life's Good in LG 5K and Fun Run...

Include a 5K in your Memorial Day Weekend plans. The 6th Annual "Life's Good in LG" 5K and Fun Run is back~last year's festive race included over 250 5K-ers and about 100 Fun Runners! Once again all of our proceeds will go directly to the Leonardtown Volunteer Fire Department.  Over the years we have been able to support the LVFD with over $6,000.00 through this event.  So come out and enjoy our scenic and USAT&F CERTIFIED one-lap course contained entirely within the beautiful Leonard's Grant subdivision. We will be using a CHIPPED TIMING SYSTEM for the most accurate finish line.  Both the Fun Run and the 5K will start and end at the LG Gazebo. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finshers in the following categories:  Overall, 13 & Under, 14-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-54, 55+. 

When entering your race shirt size please note that a women's-cut tee is offered in addition to the standard-cut from previous years. There will be no shirt exchanges.  Register here until 5/20/17 to guarantee your shirt size or register during walk-in registration on May 26th for $30. You will not be guaranteed your shirt size if you walk-in to register.  Also, it may be necessary to wait for our post-race shirt order if you walk-in to register and the shirts have run out~last year we placed a post-race shirt order for about 20 shirts. 

If you register ahead of time, you will be able to pick up your race packet on race day however, THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.

The Kids' Fun Run will start off our morning at 8:00 am.  This superfun event is open to runners aged 11 and under with distances of 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile. Register your munchkin for $5 at the Walk-in Registration on May 27th at the LG Clubhouse. All 5K registrants include one free Fun Run registration.

Event details and schedule

Friday, May 26th, 4:00-6:00: Walk-in Registration for 5K and Fun Run as well as Packet Pick-up. Held at the Leonard's Grant Clubhouse in the middle of the subdivision. THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.

Saturday, May 27th, 7:30-8:15: Packet Pick-up for 5K runners already registered. THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.

Saturday, May 27th, 8:00:  Kids' Fun Run at the 5K Start/Finish Line

Saturday, May 27th, 8:20: 5K Start

Saturday, May 27th, 9:00: 5K Awards
