Rossview Summer 5k Series...

The 2nd annual Rossview High School Summer 5k Series and 1 mile run, takes place on a blazing fast, out and back course on the school campus.
 

All proceeds will benefit the Rossview High School Cross Country and Track & Field Booster Clubs.

Event details and schedule

The 2nd annual Rossview Summer 5k Series consists of five races Thursday evenings starting on June 1, 2017 and concluding on June 29, 2017. The 5k race will begin at 6:30pm, with a free 1 mile fun run at 6:15pm. There are two payment options. Prior too or on the day of the first race, participants can pay $50 and register for the entire series and participate in all 5 races. The second option is to pay $15 per race the day of the race. Those who sign up for the entire series and pay the $50 fee will receive a t-shirt. Pay per race participants and 1 mile runners will not receive t-shirts.

Runners who have completed a minimum of (3) 5k races will be eligible for awards. The average of the fastest three races will determine the runners ranking. The top three male and female overall 5k runners will receive awards. The top three male and female 5k runners will receive awards in the following age groups; 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 and over. Special awards will be given to the fastest overall male and female in the Buggy Division (runner with stroller and passenger) and 6-legged Race (Runner with canine companion). Award ceremony and BBQ will follow the final race July 28, 2016.
