26th Annual Mutt Strut 5K and Fun Run ~ Results...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Join the staff, volunteers and supporters of the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia for the 26th Annual Mutt Strut 5K & 1 Mile Fun at Lakeview Academy in Gainesville, GA.

The annual event is one of the premier fundraising events for the HSNEGA with all proceeds benefiting the shelter’s services and the animals in its care.

Participants are invited to bring their dogs to walk/run with them as long as the animals are vaccinated, leashed, non-aggressive, and in good physical condition.  If you are participating in the 5K and would also like to use the 1 Mile to warm up, you do NOT need to pay two entry fees. Also, there is no charge for small children in strollers; however, any child walking or running will need to be entered in the appropriate event.

Registration and packet pickup begins at 7AM

1 Mile Fun Run starts at 8AM

5K starts at 8:45AM

Awards

Awards will be given to the Overall Male/Female and Overall Masters Male/Female.  Age Group awards will be given 3 deep in standard age groups from 10 and under to 75 and over.

Timing and Results

Finish line and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com and www.coolrunning.com.

Series Affiliation

The race is part of the 2017 Black Bag Race Series.

Shirts and Goodies

Shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registered runners and will be given out while supplies last to late and race day registrants.  There will be plenty of fluids and fruit after the race. There will also be treats for your dogs.

Other Info:

In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
