Caterpillar Run...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Caterpillar Walk/Run program is a fundraising campaign designed to raise awareness and support for Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain. The event  is a USTAF sanctioned event on a USTAF certified course.  Official timing will be handled by Rock Race Timing.

100% of proceeds will benefit the Fibromyalgia Care Society of America (FCSA) introduction of a Center of Excellence Program which will offer immediate support to those living with Fibromyalgia and their families. Current fundraising efforts by other organizations support long term solutions to fibromyalgia which are necessary and vital however, for those living with fibromyalgia there are no immediate care initiatives. The FCSA Fibromyalgia Center of Excellence will be dedicated entirely on helping those living with fibromyalgia and when the time comes the Center of Excellence Program will support the introduction of new treatment and therapies that are being supported by other research initiatives. 

One of the greatest challenges of this syndrome is the lack of awareness and SUPPORTIVE SERVICES available for people living with this chronic illness and their families, as a result the Fibromyalgia Care Society of America has launched this year's theme: Join the Movement, One Step at a Time. Your participation in this run will help us make Fibromyalgia visible. This is the 1st annual run in New Jersey. Our goal is to help bring the Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain community together.

The NJ Caterpillar Run will take place on:

Saturday June 3rd.

Registration: 6:00 pm (Night Run-Bring purple glow sticks, necklaces and bracelets)

Where: Branch Brook Park (Lake Street by the Ballantine Gates Entrance)
