Please join us on Sunday June 4, 2017 for the 2nd Annual Just One Run. This event will be run in memory of Joseph Roche and is hosted by the Ryan Harrington Foundation - A group dedicated to helping people with the disease and struggle of addiction while raising awareness and funding. The Foundation maintains the simple message: If we can help ‘JUST ONE’ individual find and maintain their recovery, we have succeeded.
This 5k race will start and end at the Blessing of the Bay Boat House in Somerville – looping around the Mystic River on Rt. 16 in Medford, through the Mystic River Reservation and back over the Wellington Bridge to the finish. The race will be chip timed by Yankee Timing and is a relatively flat course.
‘Just One Run’ race day t-shirts are guaranteed to the first 200 registered and all kids registered under 12 years of age. The event also includes a free ½ mile Kids Fun Run, post-race refreshments, music, family activities and informational stations provided by local resources.
Online 5K registration fees are $30 for adults 13+ ($35 race day registration), or $15 for participants 12 and under. Registration for the ½ Mile Kids Fun Run is free. Kids 12 and under are welcome to participate at no cost, but please be sure to register your child!
