32nd annual Akron Children's Hospital Kids Are #1 Run...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles
• 1 Mile Run:- Run 1 Mile

Bring the entire family for a day of fun and fitness. Events include a 5K race through historic Glendale Cemetery, a 1-mile fun run, and the 1-mile Paws for a Cause Walk for dogs and their owners. There will also be a health and fitness fair, refreshments, entertainment and prizes. Proceeds benefit the hospital's Ear, Nose and Throat Center, and Respiratory Care.

3:30-6:30 p.m. - Packet pick up/Late registration, Considine Professional Building, 215 W. Bowery St., Akron, OH (Park in the Bowery Street Parking Deck)

Saturday, June 3, 2017

8 a.m. - Registration, packet pick up and health fair begin

9 a.m. - 5K race

10:30 a.m. - Fun run

11:00 a.m. - Paws for a Cause dog walk (Dog receives scarf. Handler does not receive t-shirt.)

PRE-REGISTRATION

Participants can pre-register online at akronchildrens.org/kidsrun through May 29, or by downloading and mailing in the form. Must arrive at Akron Children's no later than May 26.

LATE REGISTRATION/PACKET PICK-UP

Friday, June 2, 3:30 - 6:30 p.m., at the hospital’s Considine Professional Building, 215 W. Bowery St., Akron, OH

DAY-OF REGISTRATION

Up to 15 minutes before the start of each event

MULTIPLE EVENT DISCOUNT

Participants receive a $5 discount for entering more than one race (mail-in only).
