Seattle Run Series Trail Run - 2.5K, 5K, 10K...

Race or walk in a beatiful park on a great trail that is easy to run on. The trail is mostly compact, generally flat (as trails go) with very small and gradual ups and downs. There are no steep dips or wierd divots on this trail. You can look forward to easy foot placement. The 1.5 mile course (perfect for kids and novice runners) is one loop around the park, the 5k is 2 loops, and the 10k is 4 loops.

Medals to Top-3 Overall and Top-2  in each age group in 10-year increments. All kids 12 and under win a finisher's medal at awards ceremony.

Chip timed.

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on Dave's Organic bread will be provided along with fruit, chocolate milk, coconut water, and coffee post-race.

There are two parking lots at Lincoln Park, the north and south lots. Parking is free. Packet pick-up and the start/finish are easy to spot from the road and easy to walk to from the parking lots. Packet pick-up and the start/finish are located on the grassy meadow in between both lots.

There will be a very informal "coat check" available on a green tarp. You will place your keys, coat, etc. (probably not your wallet) in a white plastic bag and write your name on it with a black Sharpie and leave it on the tarp in a communal area.
