 - On Saturday, September 23, Wright-Way Rescue is excited to present its dog-friendly Run for Rescue 5K walk and run.

Are you looking for an exciting event to support a great cause? This event is for you! Run for Rescue is a dog-friendly 5K walking and running event and Wright-Way's largest annual fundraiser. All animal lovers, athletes, and canines are welcome!

Additionally, we invite you to the Reunion Picnic, where Wright-Way alums are invited to reconnect, play, and enjoy the picnic!

Wright-Way Rescue's Run for Rescue and Reunion Picnic includes: 5K walk and run, entertainment, giveaways, kids games, and food and drinks.

All proceeds from Run for Rescue and fundraisers will go directly back to supporting Wright-Way Rescue's mission.

Wright-Way Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Its mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets euthanized in the Midwest each year through an adoption program, community education, promotion of spaying and neutering, and a veterinary medicine program. It continues to save pets from rural animal control facilities where they are at a high risk of euthanasia, and instead offer them a second chance at a loving home in the Chicagoland area.

The race will be held on the Cook County Forest Preserves trails.
