~ This race runs through four Rhode Island towns and enters the Blackstone Valley River Corridor in Cumberland for the return to the finish in Pawtucket. The Blackstone Valley River and canal provides the back drop for one of Rhode Island most scenic routes.
The start and finish is at Pawtucket City Hall. The course runs on city streets through Central Falls, Lincoln and Cumberlaland. It is relatively flat with the only challenge being a hill at around 4 miles. Once that hurdle is over it is easy running and the bike path next to the river makes it so much more enjoyable.
