Deltona Middle Lightning Loop 5K...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Deltona Middle School Lightning Loop 5K is a loop course around the perimeter of Deltona Middle School. As you go around the school four times you will gain a new accessory every lap! There will be finisher medals and trophies for top 3 men and 3 women in age categories: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+. As well as the top 3 boy and girl DMS students and top 3 men and women Volusia County School Employees. 

Registration is $15 prior to the event.

Registration at check in will cost $20, cash only. 

Event details and schedule

Lightning Loop 5K will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday May 21, 2017.

The course will be four laps around Deltona Middle School. To keep track of your laps you will be handed a new accessory every lap. 

Please arrive at 8:30 a.m. for check in at the GYM and a quick look at the course.

The course is a mix of paved and grass pathway. 

Any profits will be used toward enriching Deltona Middle School.

I know that participating in this event is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decisions of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete. I assume all risks associated with participating in this event including but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself, and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the County of Volusia, City of Deltona, Deltona Middle School, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence on the part of persons named in this waiver. Please note that proceeds received from this event may be used toward student, faculty, staff, and volunteer incentives and/or rewards.
