Our 25th Anniversary Year …

**NEWS...  The Old Courthouse 5K is very close to becoming a nationally certified 5K road race by the Road Runners Club of America, and registered with the U.S. Track and Field. Keep on the look out for our final monumental announcement.

It’s time for the annual Old Courthouse 5k, presented by The Georgia Civitan Foundation and the Fayette County Civitan Club.  The event will be held at 8:00am on Saturday, June 10, 2017 in front of Fayette Senior Services in Fayetteville GA.  Day of Race Registration opens at 7:00 and closes at 7:45 am.

For the 25th time, runners from all over the Atlanta metro area, and some even beyond, will come to spend their morning enjoying the fun, the exercise, the competition, the fellowship and the opportunity to help those that can’t help themselves by participating.  This will be the Fayette County Civitan Clubs 25th Old Courthouse 5K.

The run is open all runners, who desire exercise and fun, while helping great community organizations and the special needs citizens of Fayette County. As always, there will be fantastic door prizes, refreshments and the great “Civitan Old Courthouse 5K” t-shirts for all registered participants.

Event details and schedule

The run will begin at 8:00am, at the Fayette County Senior Services Center located at the Fayette County Justice Center, 4 Center Drive in Fayetteville. Proceeds from the run will aide organizations serving medically fragile citizens of our community, such as the Joseph Sams School, ExceptionalOPS, Fayette County Special Olympics, and Southwest Christian Care (Hospice, Hope House, Senior Care, and Spiritual Care).
