Event details and schedule

The Lytle Park Triathlon starts with a 300 Meter (328 Yd) swim. One "M" shaped loop, swim in the lagoon style Zero-entry pool. Bouys are set with the farthest two in the deep-end of the pool and the closest to the Start/Exit in the shallow end.

The bike course of the Lytle Park Triathlon is a Lightening fast 12.5 mile race out and back so you have the chance to see all the competition. Be sure hammer it on the way out and stay efficient on the way back, wind typically travels from the South to the North. 

The 3 mile run course is a looped out and back pancake flat course.  There will be an aide station at the 1 and 2 mile marker of the run course. The aide stations will be stocked with Water.

Packet pickup will be Friday June 9th at Elite Cyclery (1901 Champaign Ave. Mattoon) from noon-5:00pm or race day beginning at 7:00am-8:30am.

Start time for the 5K is 8:00am and for the Triathlon is 9:00am. There will be a meeting at 8:15 for the triathlon participants.

Awards Presentation will be at 11:15am!
