Do you enjoy running to music? At the La Grange Rocks 5K you can run without the hassle of ear buds! Local bands will keep our runners energized and entertained the entire 5K route. Runners support The LeaderShop, a youth agency that changes lives in Lyons and Proviso Townships.

Come out and enjoy an early summer evening with your family and friends. A youth quarter mile run and a youth mile run will be held before the 5K. Finish the night up by enjoying food from local restaurants while DJ Anthony keeps you entertained before the awards ceremony.

While encouraging families to exercise together is important to us, the La Grange Rocks 5K hasn’t forgotten the competitive runner. We offer cash prizes to the top three men and women

Event details and schedule

Kids one lap goes off at 6:00 pm, followed by the Kids one mile at 6:16 and then the 5K at 7:00. The course is very flat and fairly fast as it winds through the residential of La Grange. There is a parking lot east of the start line and street parking is available on streets not included in the course. Bring a jacket or other outer layer as it can get cool as the sun sets. Local businesses donate snacks for post-race consuption.
