The 13th Annual Jersey Shore 5K for Kidneys is held in the scenic town of Wall, NJ at the Municipal Complex spanning almost 40 acres.
Organized and operated by The IgA Nephropathy Foundation of America (IGAN), this event supports their mission of finding a cure for kidney disease. Participants will receive a FREE T-shirt (limited shirts will be available for race-day entries) as well as refreshments (breakfast and lunch buffet). Awards will be given to the top finishers in each category as well as a Team Fundraiser Award that will be presented to the team with the most money raised so, be sure to register as a team for a chance to win. There will also be a gift auction for anyone interested in participating. All proceeds go toward the IGAN Foundation and the research they support. For more information on the ongoing research, please visit www.igan.org.
An addition to this year's event is the difference in start times. The 5k Race will begin BEFORE the 2-mile walk so as to not cross paths. The walk will begin shortly after all runners have completed allowing for an optimal 5K race for both experienced and novice runners as well as a relaxing walk.
We thank you for your interest in this year's event and hope to see you on race day!!
With gratitude,
The IGAN Family
