Delaplane Strawberry Festival 5K XC Run/Walk...

Join us in the Northern Virginia countryside for an exciting and long standing tradition at the 22nd Annual Delaplane Strawberry Festival, and the 12th Annual 5K Trail Race and Walk!  OVER ALL AWARDS AS WELL AS 10YR. AGE GRP. AWARDS TO M & F.

We offer nice simplicity with a personal touch, an ol' fasioned style running event.  No glitz, no fancy "bells and whistles", just a gorgeous outdoor/mountain setting and good trail racing with age group/overall awards. Or, if you would like to just experience the walking challenge near our Appalachian Trail in a more relaxed way-do the walk!   $25 FEE

After the run is completed...ALL runners and family can enter the Festival for FREE (a $25 per car value!!!)...TONS of Strawberry goodies, food vendors, crafters, art, childrens activities and farm animals...AND live bands- including our mountain favorite: Bluegrass style!

RACE SHIRTS GUARANTEED TO PRE-REGISTERED ONLY, BY MAY 16TH...NO EXCEPTIONS.

course is easier than the upper trails we used in the past but there are still rocky challenges and muddy fun...overall we think you will enjoy this course!

Start time is promptly 9:02AM at the PARK

Walk begins WITH the start of run.

**PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY (BY 8:15AM), THE PARK IS HUGE AND FESTIVAL PARKING DOES CAUSE A POTENTIAL LONG WALK TO THE START
