The Dairy Air 5K begins and ends just South of the Downtown City Building–Bridge St. Markesan, WI.
Conveniently located at the heart of all the June Dairy Days action!

***Awards will be presented to the top male and female participants in each 5K age category***

The Dairy Air 5K is part of Markesan’s June Dairy Day’s family weekend.
We encourage you to join us before and after the race to enjoy the fun activities June Dairy Days has to offer including a

Carnival Midway and live bands both Friday and Saturday night!
Don’t forget about our famous parade on Saturday hosted by The Markesan Chamber!

Registration for the 1 Mile Walk will only be available during race day registration.

100% of the proceeds raised from the 1 Mile Walk will be donated to the American Red Cross

Event details and schedule

Date and Race Time: Friday, June 9th 2017
*Race is weather permitting, a rain date is not scheduled. If the race is canceled due to weather a refund will not be issued*
Participants are to gather at the starting line on Bridge St. at 7:15pm. Race begins at 7:30pm
Location: Bridge St. Markesan, WI 53946, located just South of the June Dairy Days activities.

5K Fees: Age 10-15   $20.00

                 Age 16-65   $25.00

                 Age 66+ $20.00

Race day registration and sign in will be held from 5:30pm-6:30pm at The Workout Room 22 E. Water St. Markesan, located a short distance from the race start/finish line.
Only check or cash payments accepted during race day registration.
Please make checks payable to The Workout Room.

T-Shirts: 5K participants will receive a custom design t-shirt while supplies last. 1 Mile Fun Walk participants will not receive a T-shirt.

Course: Race begins and ends on Bridge St. Markesan, WI. The entire course is on a paved roadway/sidewalk.

Awards: Awards will be presented to the top male and female participant in each 5K age category at The Workout Room following the conclusion of the race. *If a participant fails to attend the awards ceremony they will forego receiving an award. Awards will not be mailed to participants.* Age categories: (10-15) (16-25) (26-35) (36-45) (46-55) (56-65) (66+).

Proceeds: A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Markesan Area Chamber of Commerce. 100% of the proceeds from the 1 Mile Walk will be donated to the American Red Cross.
Race Restrictions: Rollerblades, skates, skateboards, bikes, and scooters are not permitted on the race course.
