Candy Corn 5K...

• Candy Corn 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Candy Corn 5K is a fundraising event for Family Support Network of Southern Piedmont, a nonprofit agency serving families with children born prematurely or with other special healthcare needs or disabilities.   Runners, Walkers, and Rollers are all welcome!   

Participants must register by Friday, September 15th in order to guarantee a t-shirt.  Each registered participant will receive a goodie bag. 

• $20 Early Bird registration for ages 13 years old and up who register by September 24th. $25 after September 24th.

• $15 Early Bird registration for children 6-12 years old who register by September 24th. $20 after September 24th.
  

Online registration closes at 5:00, Friday, October 6th but you can register on-site the day of the race.  (On-site registration will be $30 for ages 13 and up and $25 for ages 6-12.) 

Onsite registration and packet pick-up begins at 8:00 a.m. the day of the race.

Rain or shine, this race takes place at the scenic Frank Liske Park in Concord, NC. 

Prize for the best Candy Corn costume! 

Family Support Network  of Southern Piedmont gives families the tools they need to become more confident in raising their child with special needs. Last year, we served over 500 families by providing one-to-one parent support in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, information, referrals, support groups for parents and siblings, parent to parent matching, trainings and workshops, and social events for children with special needs such as Cookies with Santa and the Summer Splash Celebration.
