9th Annual Law Enforcement Memorial Race...

Welcome to the Knoxville Law Enforcement Memorial Run
Join us on Saturday, May 20, 2017, as we kick off Law Enforcement Week with the 9th annual Knoxville Law Enforcement Memorial Run (LEMR) 5k! The LEMR is a family friendly event for runners and walkers of all levels. No race was held in 2016 however, during 2015 over 500 racers laced up their running shoes in support of this cause.

This event is the only race in Knoxville, TN, that raises awareness of Police Week which falls May 14-20, 2017. The proceeds of the LEMR will benefit the establishment of a local law enforcement memorial site in Knoxville. This race honors all Law Enforcement Officers in the Knoxville - Knox County area, along with the surrounding counties, who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty as well as those working on the frontline every day.

The race is open to everyone, not just those working in law enforcement. We challenge one and all to register, participate, volunteer and cheer us on in order to show their support for our local heroes.

The annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 17th.  More details can be found here.

Schedule
Registration opens at 6:30 a.m.
Race starts at 8:00 a.m.
Awards at approximately 9:30 a.m. 
Start and finish line will be Sequoyah Hills Park, 1400 Cherokee Blvd, Knoxville, TN.

Day of race from 7 am - 7:30 am

Two prerace packet pick up opportunities:

Fleet Feet at Turkey Creek on May 18 from 11 am – 5 pm
Knoxville Police Department May 19 from 10 am – 4 pm
