Description
_ The 2017 Aloha Moani 5k Run/Walk is hosted by Naval Hospital Bremerton Nursing Association.
Join us for a run and/or walk through Jackson Park in honor of LT Rebekah Moani Daniel. We lost a gifted labor and delivery nurse unexpectedly on March 9th, 2014. To take a moment to remember such a wonderful spirit we have established Aloha Moani 5K during Nurse’s Week celebrations.
Moani was a kind, gentle, and loving spirit who passed away after she delivered a beautiful, healthy baby girl, Victoria. Hawaiian for family is "Ohana" and Moani was part of Naval Hospital Bremerton's Ohana and many more. Let us honor Moani and celebrate her life during this event.
Course Info
The event will be hosted on May 6th, 2017 with an event start of 9:00am. Please arrive early to retrieve your bib and shirt, if previously ordered.
The following are accepted: children, strollers, jogging strollers, wagons, pets (on leashes <6 feet). However, *NO bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards due to safety concerns.*

Location is the Community Center in Jackson Park.
Restrooms will be provided in Community Center.-
Other Info
Proceeds and donations today will assist NHBNA in maintaining a scholarship memorial fund named in honor of Moani Daniel, determined by the family, to continue her nursing legacy.
Register by April 25th to guarantee a race shirt.
Registration on event day will be from 7:30am-8:30am, please arrive early to allow for registration time.
