Run Like a Superhero 5K

 _ 2017 Run Like a Superhero 5K:

Scipio Elementary Student Council is hosting a Superhero themed 5k run/walk. Dress like a superhero or an EVERYDAY superhero like a police officer, soldier, or firefighter. Pets are welcome too. There will be a trophy for best costume. All of the profits and donations from this event will go to the Scipio Elementary School to pay for student school supplies and other educational supplies for the students. 

Race Information
There will be two separate races. The competitive run will begin at 8:30 a.m. The top runner in each age group will receive a trophy. You can also choose to run/walk just for fun following the competitive run at 9:30 a.m. You may do both at no additional cost (you only need to register for the competitive run if you are planning on doing both). Every participant will receive a "Superhero" participation medal!

Entry Fee
ALL ENTRY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. We are accepting entries online or you may choose to fill out a registration form and turn in cash at Scipio Elementary by May 5. The entry fee is based on age. The price for those under 16 years old will be discounted at checkout. There is also a discount for families of 4 or more (that use the same registration form) of $20 off the total cost.
***EVERYONE planning on running/walking the Run Like a Superhero 5K MUST complete a registration form and sign the waiver!

5 and Under: FREE (Must sign up to receive a participation medal)
6-15 yrs. old:  $15 + $2.50 processing fee
16 and Older: $25 + $2.50 processing fee
Family of 4+ will receive $20 off the total + processing fee may be a little more

Prizes
Every participant will receive a "Superhero" medal. Trophies will also be awarded for the top male and female in each age group and for BEST costume. The age groups are as follows:
