The Jefferson Davis Community College (JDCC) Foundation and the Brewton Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Blueberry 5K Run and Walk on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 7 a.m. The Blueberry 5K Run and Walk takes place on scenic, wooded trails of the beautiful Jennings/Burnt Corn Creek and O'Bannon Parks in downtown Brewton, site of the Annual Blueberry Festival hosted by the Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce. The event concludes at the Annual Blueberry Festival complete with live music, original arts and crafts, free children’s section, waterslide and inflatables, antique/classic car show, petting zoo, and fresh blueberries. The Blueberry 5K Run and Walk benefits the Matthew Hutton Billy Memorial Scholarship Fund for students dually enrolled in JDCC and Huntingdon College Bachelor in Business Management Degree Program in Brewton.
