GVI Spring Fling 5K...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

This years’ race proceeds will benefit the elementary school program “Strings in Schools” through The String Quartet Society of Tuscaloosa and Parkinsons research through the Michael J Fox Foundation.

Our race is once again a “Grand Prix” event of the Tuscaloosa Track Club.  The certified 5K course is flat and scenic as we run through beautiful downtown Tuscaloosa’s historic neighborhoods and business districts. 

The “after party” is what makes the GVI Spring Fling different from other events. After the running is done, the party gets started.  Everyone is encouraged to stick around for live entertainment by “The Man”, lunch, and cold drinks!  It’s a wonderful day of racing followed good food and lively entertainment.
