No Mercy 15K and 5K Trail Races...

2 great distances ( 5K and 15K )to enjoy a fun and challenging network of trails at Heritage Park in Watkinsville GA. All proceeds benefit Mercy Health Clinic, a nonprofit organization and community of volunteers providing, quality, whole-person healthcare to the under served living in Athens. Since their founding in 2001, Mercy’s patient volume and need for support continues to grow. As an organization seeking wellness for the Athens community, our desire is to support Mercy and their mission by raising funds to help continue their work in our community.

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 6:30AM

15K: Starts at 7:30AM

5K: Starts at 8AM

Awards: First place male & female, overall & masters. First, second, & third place in each age group (overall winners excluded from age group awards). All finishers will receive a goody bag.

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.coolrunning.com, www.runningintheusa.com.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 6/7/17.  Those registering after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2017 Black Bag Race Series.

Courses: Both events are trail/cross country style races. There will be 1 aid station on the 5k course, and 2 aid stations on the 15k course. Aid stations will be equipped with water, Gatorade Endurance Formula, and First Aid supplies. In an effort to keep the environment clean, cups will not be supplied on the course, please bring your own water bottle to refill at aid stations. There will be plenty of refreshments provided at the finish line.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
