Herricks Harry O'Neill Flag Day Memorial 5K

and Fun Run

A great event for runners and walkers

of all ages and abilities.

This event began in 2006 as a way for the Herricks Community to honor beloved teacher and coach, Harry O'Neill. Herricks Athletic Boosters continues the tradition of remembering Harry as well as thanking and honoring our Military and First Responders.

Proceeds from the race will go towards scholarships for athletes and support Athletic Boosters programs for students.

• Terrific giveaway t-shirts and 5 year M/F age group awards as well as Top 3 Military and First Responders
• Penguin Award to the last 5 K Finisher
• All children (up to 5th grade) in Fun Run & 5K receive medals
• Participant Raffles and Giveways

Event details and schedule

• Packet Pick-up: Friday June 16th, 2017 4:00 PM to 7:00 and  Saturday June 17th, 2017 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM at Herricks High School Hut 
• 5K Race begins at 8:30; Fun Run begins at 10:00
• Awards and Raffle Prizes given after the Fun Run
• Penguin Award to final 5K finisher
• Field Activities and Games for Children
• Herricks High School Drive will be closed to traffic at 8:30AM
• Parking available at Herricks High School or Herricks Community Center
• Online Registration closes June 12th, 2017
• Timing Provided by USA Timing
