Together for MENTAL HEALTH! 

Did you know?

-1 in 5 adults in America experience a mental illness.

-Nearly 1 in 25 (10 million) adults in America live with a serious mental illness.

-One-half of all chronic mental illness begins by the age of 14; three-quarters by the age of 24.

-Nearly 60% of adults with a mental illness didn’t receive mental health services in the previous year.

-Nearly 50% of youth aged 8-15 didn’t receive mental health services in the previous year.

This year, the Together Run Ride Walk is focused on raising awareness for, ending the stigma of, and providing local resources for the mental health of individuals in Lancaster County.

Did you know?

The Together Community Center (TCC) is already a hub for addressing mental health issues? The TCC hosts a satellite location of Community Services Group. Community Services Group (CSG) provides community-based mental health and intellectual & developmental disability (IDD) services that empower individuals to reach their full potential. We are also partnering with County Line in Gap and Lancaster General Health to create a wholistic health referral system. 

This year we are running, riding, and walking to bring more resources to our county through the Together Community Center. We are running, riding, and walking to raise awareness, for people in our lives suffering with mental illness, for our own mental and physical health, and for the mental health of Pequea Valley Community. 

Join us for our Together Run Ride Walk (formerly the Run, Ride, Walk, Scoot) as we enjoy our third year at Intercourse Heritage Days on Saturday, June 17! This event will be benefiting the Pequea Valley Community through the Together Community Center. 

Come join us for breakfast beginning at 6:30am, and then put your legs to work for the Together 5k, walk, and two bike rides. 

All participants who register by the t-shirt cut off date, June 4th, will receive a T-shirt.  There will be medals awarded to the top male and female runners of each age category, as well as trophies for the overall top male and female runner. Please wear green for Mental Health Awareness! 

Want to avoid the hassle of morning registration and maybe sleep in a little bit longer?

Come to Packet Pick Up on June 16th, at Intercourse Bikeworks, 3614 Old Philadelphia Pike, Gordonville, PA 17529, from 5-8pm to register and pick up your shirt and registration packet.

Registrations received after June 4th will cost $5 more and are not guaranteed a free T-shirt
