Starting Point & Registration:

In front of the Newton White Athletic Center on JHU Homewood Campus. Enter from W. University Parkway on the south side of Homewood Field. Park on nearby streets.
5K Race Start Time: 8:30 AM

Course: This loop course starts and finishes by the Newton White Athletic Center with a course through the JHU campus and along lovely, shaded San Martin Drive.

Awards: Top three male and female finishers
Age Group Awards: 15 and under, 15–19,
20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60+
Random Awards: Numerous random prizes will be raffled. Must be present to win.

Amenities: Collectible, commemorative T-shirt to all 5K entrants. Splits at one and two mile marks. Medical support provided. Refreshments & awards ceremonies at JHU.

5K Race Registration & Packet Pickup:

Registration & Packet pickup will be held Saturday, June 3 from 11AM to 5PM at the Falls Road Running Store, 6247 Falls Road, Baltimore 21209, and on Sunday, June 4, beginning at 7 AM in front of the White Hall Gym on the JHU Homewood Campus.

CV Festival 5K Race & 1K Kids’ Fun Run on Sunday, June 4

The Charles Village Recreational League, Johns Hopkins University and Union Memorial Hospital are pleased to sponsor the return of the Charles Village Festival 5K Race and 1K Kids’ Fun Run on Saturday morning, May 30.

Started more than 20 years ago by Charles Village parents, the Charles Village Recreation League (CVRL) is an all- volunteer organization that provides recreational sports for school-aged children and youth in Baltimore with an emphasis on fun, skills, teamwork and sportsmanship. The League focuses on recreation for children 4–14 years old and currently offers clinic and travel soccer in both fall and spring, indoor soccer, and futsal in the winter.
