Description
May 24 brings the new San Pablo Elementary 5K for Play -- a great new beach run to benefit the playground renovation project at San Pablo Elementary School. Clear your calendar for that Saturday, and come to support the kids, run on the beach at low tide, and win some terrific prizes both in 5-year age group categories and in the drawings. The San Pablo Elementary PTA has rounded up wonderful prizes from a variety of local businesses -- and you dont need to win the race to win a prize, since all registered participants are automatically entered in the post-race drawings. - - - - - There is also a non-competitive 2.5K Fun Run/Walk, in which all registered children participating will be awarded ribbons for completing the 2.5K event. Accurate, measured 5-Kilometer (3.1 mi.) course on the flat, smooth beach, starting and finishing at the American Red Cross Life Saving Station, Jax Beach. Aid stations with water at Miles 1.5 and at the finish.- - - - -Directions
