Description
- Support New York Road Runners' and New Balance's 1 for You 1 for Youth initiative* with this summertime four-miler in Central Park. Lace up your running shoes and help young athletes lace 'em up, too, by supporting NYRR's free youth programs.
Course Info
The four-mile route takes place entirely within Central Park.
Mile 1: Start on the 72nd Street Transverse near Bethesda Terrace and head east. Turn left (north) at East Drive and run north, ascending Cat Hill.
Mile 2: Continue north and pass Engineers' Gate (East 90th Street). Turn left onto the 102nd Street Transverse.
Mile 3: Turn left onto West Drive and run south through a series of three rolling hills as you pass the Reservoir on your left.
Mile 4: Enjoy a downhill, then a flat section. Turn left onto the 72nd Street Transverse and finish just west of Bethesda Terrace.
Other Info
Numbers (which include your timing tag), shoes for adults, and T-shirts for kids may be picked up at the NYRR RUNCENTER at 320 West 57th Street (between Eighth and Ninth avenues). Check back soon for a schedule of hours for number and souvenir pickup. Shoe models and shoe and T-shirt sizes are subject to availability.
Show the QR code from your race confirmation email or your My NYRR account to pick up your race materials. Please pick up during the week to avoid crowds on race day. Race-day lines may impact your ability to get to the start on time.
On race day, number pickup will be available from 6:30–7:30 a.m. Check back closer to race day for the number pickup location. Please note: Shoes will not be available for pickup on race day.
Bag check, located on Center Road, will be open from 6:30 to 10:00 a.m. If you wish to check a bag, please allow additional time for bag check and security. Clear drawstring bags will be available.
