Atlanta Zombie 5K:  Run For Your Life! is a haunted 5K road race featuring zombies and special effects along the course that will scare and entertain race participants. And, the winner must cross the finish line without being infected!  Humans (runners and walkers) will receive 3 flags to wear around their waist during the race. Zombies will be hiding along the race course and will try to grab humans’ flags as they pass by.  The winner of the race must cross the finish line with at least 1 flag remaining.

All proceeds benefit the Maynard Jackson High School PTSA, to help support programs and activities for students in one of Atlanta’s most promising schools. Students from the school will be involved in the make-up, props and costumes for the race, as well as being some of our zombie actors. Student groups will have the opportunity to run as teams. And, the race t-shirt will feature the winning design of student submissions
