5th Annual Run for Glory 5K ~ Results...

• 5K Run / Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

Come out to Demorest Georgia Springs Park on the morning of July 4th for the Demorest Glorious Fourth oF July Celebration 5K RUN FOR GLORY. You won't have to fight the traffic or the crowds and the course is half the distance of the other one in Atlanta and you don't need a qualifing time. The shirt is probably cooler too.

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: 6:30AM

5K: Starts at 8AM.

Awards: Starts at the completion of the 5K.  Awards will be given to the Overall Male and Female and 3 deep in the following age groups - 13 and under, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64 and 65 and over.

Timing and Results:

Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com, www.athlinks.com and www.coolrunning.com.

Shirts and Goodies:

Shirts are guaranteed to those who pre-register and will be given out while supplies last to race day registrants.  There will be plenty of refreshments and 2 water stations on the course.

Series Affiliation:

The race is on the 2017 Black Bag Race Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
